hybridizationI don't understand the difference between inbreeding and outbreeding.Plz explain with an eg.
I desperately need the answer yaar!!!!!!!!
inbreeding - mating within a population.
Examples: pure breed dogs, cats, etc., and Royal families until recently. outbreeding - mating outside a population. Examples: strays, breeding a horse and a donkey to produce a mule, etc., and Royal families of today and in Cinderella stories.
Re: hybridizationWhat rules define what a ( or "the") "population" is ? That is, how many individuals is the minimum allowable - what allows you to say something is indeed, a population ?
Re:So a population must be more than one individual ? That's it? And all closely related. 1/ Why cannot a population be just one individual ? 2/ What definition for "closely related "? Are all humans "closely related". Are all apes closely related ?
