State the scientific term for a peak in population.

Postby Squerl101 » Tue Sep 27, 2011 7:05 pm

Hey everyone, I have a question.

For 3 years, the deer population was 170. This was the peak in the population. What is the scientific term for the peak in population?

Please help! Thanks

I would say peak or maximum, but in this case, is it really a peak, if it's for 3 years? What are the other numbers?

Cis or trans? That's what matters.

Hello Jack,
I am sorry as I did not do a good job of explaining. The observation for population was for 25 years. The most there were was 170. This lasted for the final 3 years in the observation.
