How many chromosomes in nucleus of non-dividing root tip...?The following is based on the fact that a certain plant has 24 chromosomes in its sporophyte generation. How many chromosomes are in the nucleus of the non-dividing root tip?
a) 48 b) 8 c) 12 d) 24 I really don't understand much about this question. There's nothing in my biology 12 book that I can find about this and I've tried looking it up on the interent, but with not much luck. Can anyone help me out on this question? It'd be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.
