Underground crop gas release

Postby sarah9bond4 » Wed Jul 27, 2011 9:44 am

sorry, i don't know how to create my own question so i hope you don't mind me posting it on here.
I have a biology question that requires me to investigate what gases are released by underground crops. I have researched what gases are in starch and carbohydrates but unfortunately i was not able to find much information. I also have to find an experiment that will test for the gases.
If anyone would be able to help me that would be fantastic.
thankyou!

To create a new question use the "New Topic" button at the bottom left of the subforum you want to post into.
I made your question independant. now, so no worry, that is why mods are here :)
However I am sorry not to be able to shed any light on your real problem. Good luck though.

look for work of Frederique Guinel from the University of Waterloo in Canada. She's doing dome gas exchanges in pea nodules, so that might be usefull for you
