Fetal stem cellsHello,
im trying to find out what "Fetal stem cells" are, but i can't really find a definite answer ... On the one hand, i found sources that say fetal stem cells are multipotent stem cells isolatated from aborted fetuses' tissue (which makes more sense to me since the fetal stage begins after Organogenesis) but on the other hand there are sources that say fetal stem cells are isolated from 5-9 week old embroys' (?) or fetuses' primordial germ cells, thus also called embryonic germ cells (EG cells); under appropriate conditions they can be pluripotent like embryonic stem cells ... im very confused, can somebody help me please?
