Human Biology Book

Hi guys, this is my debut post :D

I've obtained a degree in Law, and I have relatively little scientific education, but have recently become very interested in science and biology.

I am looking for a book/resource that will give me a reasonably thorough education about the human body, how the organs work, the structure of the skeleton etc. Perhaps you guys might be able to recommend a good beginner book followed by a slightly more advanced/technical source.

Wikipedia is definitely not the best, but can serve as a good first source

A pretty good one is William F. Ganong's book:
Review of Medical Physiology

there are several books for the human biology...you can also take help from the internet but there are many free books also available o n the net.the most useful books for the human biology are the:

Biological Explorations : Human Approach (5TH 05)
Biological Explorations : Human Approach (6TH 09)
Biology : A Human Emphasis - With CD (6TH 06)
