Fluid mosaic modelAccording to the fluid mosaic model of membrane structure________:
A) phospholipids flip-flop between the bilayers to maintain fluidity. B) proteins form a coat on the outer and inner surfaces of the membrane. C) the membrane is a mosaic of proteins and carbohydrate. D) proteins form the core of the membrane with a fluid coating of phospholipid. E) both phospholipid and many membrane proteins can diffuse laterally throughout the membrane. I chose D but I am wrong. I think it may be A or E. Confused. Plese help- thanks.
