Where to obtain bacteriophages or plant viruses?

Hello all,

I am a high school student who is interested in doing experiments with some viruses that are not harmful to humans. Can anyone tell me where I could buy them?

That would certainly depends on where you live. However my experience is that none of the reputable seller wil deliver anything to anyone that cannot prove that it has the equipment and procedure to manipulate biological material. Even the inncuous stuff.

One thing you can try to do is to isolate your own phage from the environment instead.

Is that easily possible? Could you refer me to any link that would explain how to do that?
