need help to identified bacteria

I need to identify bacteria.
but i do not have any manual for this and also dont know about any manual.
If you have any information about that like any known site address or book please let me know.

To identify any bacteria we do first gram staining to look its morphology ....which bacteria? gram positive or gram negative?
if it looks purple its gram positive and pink then its gram negative
next its shape? rod shaped bacilus? round ? all that characters are studied to identify the type of the bacterias
and after identifying the type we study which spp does it belongs to?
