I was set this question on one of my assignments and it really has me stumped, maybe im just hitting a science block but it would really help if you could point me in the correct direction


Q: Describe four ways you can alter the geometry of an E.coli multi-step whole cell biocatalyst using standard molecular biology techniques.

thats one of the things i dont really understand but my idea is that it is a whole cell biocatalyst that is required for several repteaing steps, maybe has something to do with the lower activity if whole cells are used again and again

are used again and again for what? Are you talking about the cells in organisms, rigth?
