Can someone please identify this spider?

It was located in my garage in Simi Valley, CA. I have an idea, but I'm hoping that's not what it is...

If you're thinking recluse, it's possible, but there's not enough detail in the picture to tell - it could be lots of others. If you actually saw it, the "fiddle" marking on the back is pretty diagnostic for a recluse.

Thanks for the response - that was as close as I was going to get while it was still alive.

It's not alive anymore (sprayed it with bug spray), but I'll take some additional pictures tonight up close and post them. It's legs are shriveled around it so it's somewhat hard to see the body now.
