Question about some terms in evolutionary *psychology*(I'm not sure if this applies to this forum exactly, but I think it may be loosely connected). Basically, I'm confused about these common terms:
Content-dependent Content-specific: Domain-specific Content-saturated Can anyone help me to define and untangle them? I think content-dependent means that specific things in the evolutionary environment shaped it, and thus only certain classes of inputs are accepted (such as the shape of faces, or the sound of speech). As for the rest of them, I can't tell the difference. Can anyone help?
