separation of bloodI am trying to find out how long it takes blood to separate after death from cardiac rupture.
Re: separation of bloodResearch shows that after death it takes the body from 15 up to 2 hours so that blood is separated from blood cells and plasma cells. Blood cells are assorted at lower levels where plasma settles on on top. This causes pallor mortis, in other words, that paleness from the lack of circulation in the body.
