how to work out human enery/calories usedWould anyone know how to work out how much energy/calories the human body would use when doing the following. It has not got to be .5 of a second or 3 seconds, or the weight or distance has not got to be what I put down, as it’s a general estimate. And is there a difference in the energy/calories used when doing vertical and horizontal movements.
1, Lifting 80% of your RM or say call that 80 pounds, one time up 1m in 3 seconds and one time down 1m in 3 seconds, total 6 seconds. 2, Lifting 80% of your RM or say call that 80 pounds, six times up 1m at .5 of a second each lift and six times down 1m in .5 of a second each lowerinng total 6 seconds. carlotta
