animal paw with fingernails?

My dog dragged in this mysterious animal paw. I'm no expert, but from the layout and structure; it looks like it would dig. My first thought was some kind of mole, but a quick google search ruined that idea. What do you guys think? Can you Identify this?

If there are wide webs between those toes I would guess beaver, right rear leg.
