What is this animal?

A while ago upon walking along Formy beach i came across this animal.
I had no idea what it was but i was intruiged, I would be delighted if anyone could identify it for me

I think it's a crocodile skeleton . Because it's tail looks like a crocodile tail and it's head looks like a crocodile head . Maybe somebody has killed it for it's leather , I dont know . ıt seems like a crocodile

Some description and scale would help - for instance, do the white objects appear to be bones? Are we dealing with a vertebrate or parts of a squid-?

It is definitely not any species of Crocodile, Crocodile vertebra are huge even in juveniles, the head also looks as though it is made more from cartilage material rather than bone and if you look on the left of the image it looks to me like a "swim bladder" used by fish and other marine organisms for buoyancy and stability, also the tail has "spines" running along it, no way it is a Croc. Btw what part of the World are you in?

i agree. it is obviously a crocodile due to the skeleton structure.

totally not a croc. it more in the bird family you can see it has a beak with teeth in it.

This is DEFINITELY NOT a croc!!! Seriously people! Who ever said it was a croc needs to go back to school.

I'm no skeleton expert, but these pictures have me very interested. Notice the spiny tail and three disk shapes at the end of the tail. There is definitely a lot of cartilage. What I find most interesting is the location of the eye sockets and the shape of the snout. Does't match up with anything I can think of. Any experts out there?????

It is a very rare mythical animal called a Jenny Hanniver.
Seriously I agree that the thing that looks like a skull does not appear to be made of bone. It is a pity you did not turn it over and photograph it from beneath.
My guess would be, mostly skate.

Almost looks like a decomposing deformed cow like structure, maybe one that fell off a ship, just a shot in the dark

Cows don't have long spiny tails, fins, and cartilage like that. At least not the cows I know of
