Poikilotherms

Hi,

could someone describe to me what the metabolic vs Temp ambient would look like for a poikilotherm?

I can't find it on google and the notes my teacher gave me are really confusing...
It shows for increasing ambient temp, the body temp increase linearly, and then it has added in a curved(exponential like) going upwards for ambient temp too, but then it has a label saying that for ectotherms MR increases....
i know most ectotherms are poikilotherms but not all, so I just want to have it clarified.
