Can the same dioxin found in Agent Orange and has already caused NSCLC also cause Colon Cancer?

Dioxin are not pathogen, but toxins.

Lung Cancer is a possibility, but they do not specify the type of cancer. But Colon cancer is not cited.

thanks for replying canalon. I am looking, hopefully, for medical support. I beat agent orange related lung cancer but while treatments for it were being done, colon cancer appeared that was not there before lung cancer treatments started.

Just to ask - have you joined any of the ACOR (Association of Cancer Online Resources) mailing lists of cancer patients? They are excellent - full of patients, carers and survivors, and have a wealth of experience. I see that the Colon cancer ACOR list has 800 members. By joining, and asking your question there, you may find others in your situation (ditto by joining the lung cancer list). You may find others who are also exploring possibly links between these two cancer types and Agent Orange.

I fully recommend checking out these lists. My only caveat is to direct them to a dedicated email address, as you get a LOT of emails!

All the very very best in your treatment. This may sound macabre, but it could be that were it not for being under close medical scrutiny for your NSCLC the docs might not have spotted your colon cancer until it was a lot further advanced?
