Endocytosis

Postby Ray25 » Mon Nov 01, 2010 5:48 pm

Hey everyone!

I'm a beginner in biology and I have a question with regards to endocytosis.

I want to make sure that the red-colored oval features that are depicted in the below endocytosis image are receptors binding with molecutes and nothing else.

I would really appreciate it if someone could confirm this or, if I'm wrong, let me know what those features represent.

Thanks in advance! :)

Cis or trans? That's what matters.
