Cure-alike DrugsDoes anyone know what they are? And if you do, what are its importance to surgery???
Thanks in advance. I can't seem to find it anywhere, even in google.
Well, If you talking about drugs that are used in surgery maybe I'll think like this. There are 3 types of drugs which are depresant, halutinogen and stimulant. IMMSMR, depresant is often used in surgery with certain dosage to make the nervous kinda 'not functioning' for a while...
Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
Hi,
I am not a specialist, but are you not talking about "curar-like" drugs? Curar is a poison that blocks the muscles (i don't know exactly how on the top of my head) and some drugs that have the same effects are used in surgery to paralyse the patient. HTH Patrick
thanks guys, talked to my prof about it and was told that it was an anesthetic. how come google doesn't have anything about it though???
Just in case anyone was wondering...

Ask your prof if he knows that... I am curious
