Biology EEHey Everyone
just pick, what will YOU find interesting, bešcause then you will like the writing. E.g. for me would be interesting from the nervous system only the signal transmision, but not the anatomy, what migth be interesting for someone else

Cis or trans? That's what matters.
If it were me, I'd write about the role of the circulatory system in the spread of cancer by metastatis, involving sentinel nodes, circulating tumour cells, intra/extravasation, reaction of immune cells, 'seed and soil' theory.....
It's key to understanding why cancer recurs (and kills) Julie.
Alex, if you were indeed interested in the role of the circulatory system and cancer metastasis, you will find that there is a good deal of information in textbooks that focus on the biology of cancer (I can name some that I use if you want - they are probably undergrad level, though pretty straightforward until you start diving deep, deep into the biochem, which you probably wouldn't need to do at that detail for your EE.) As you can imagine, there is still a lot of research ongoing and to be done, as controlling metastasis is THE big problem in cancer treatment, plus a lot of the latest drugs are targetting the metabolic pathways that enable the tumour cells to 'hijack' the capillary system to divert capillaries into the tumours, and also to enable the tumours to grow their own blood supply as well.
All the best, whatever you choose to write on - Julie. Kelly - I am very new too, and everyone's been v nice to me! Good luck with it all.
