what is the meaing of singal Peptide?

Hi dears....
While i surfing websites related to the bioinformatics tools i found sever called Signal P..for signal peptide determining.... My question is what is the meaning of signal peptide and how can i read "expressing" the result in my report?

If anyone has experience in these software, pleas reply!

Ah, CBS...

The signal peptide tells you, where will be the protein directed to, e.g. to mitochondria, plastids, apoplast etc.
