We need to find a University that will write a grant and research this. Going to a horrible dictator will not help. Try if you must but he has done nothing to help his own people medically.

And also it has never been "another story" just cuz someone has lost something. It has always been the same story for me and the ones I love. It has always been serious to me.

In making application for and "investigative" grant one must have enough evidence to validate at least the need for the research. Media events are not evidence, it is only an indication of a need. Grant proposals which have a possible specific target identified and supporting preliminary data are to be more likely funded. A grant proposal which simply states that, "We want money to find out what is causing what ever this is that everyone is complaining about," won't work. Yes, the NIH traditionally funds major universities, probably because they have the faculty, basic facilities, and a reputation of successful research activities.
It appears that the MRF has established national awareness and is in the process of collecting the needed evidence and data through a major university to support the writing of a successful grant proposal.
