Equivalent Circuit Models in Combination with Full Wave Simulations and System Identification Methods
A mobile phone is not only a device for making phone calls; it also offers a number of other functions such as a digital camera, MP3 player, Bluethooth, diversity and MIMO antennas. All these sub-systems compete about the already limited space inside the shell of the mobile. From an antenna engineer’s point of view, this is a problem: at one hand the antenna is affected by its nearby environment in the phone and, on the other hand, the antenna might interfere with other sub-systems in the phone, i.e. EMC problems.
In this project a general method for describing how the antenna is affected by nearby objects and how the antenna might interact with other objects is developed. The purpose is to use the method for guidance and optimization of the geometrical layout and for studying and improving the antenna robustness in a given environment.
The most important parameters to investigate are the antenna efficiency and impedance, and for EMC problems, the transfer function (S21). These parameters will during the project be estimated as function of geometry, materials etc. These parameters will be studied both with full wave solvers, measurements and circuit simulators.

[Experimental porphyria induced by chlorinated hydrocarbons.
Studies of porphyrinogen carboxy-lyase in the experimental model of human cutaneous delayed porphyria][Article in Spanish]

The present work tries to elucidate if the strong decrease of porphyrinogen carboxy-lyase (PCL) observed in the experimental porphyria caused by hexachlorobenzene (HCB) is due to the presence of an inhibitor or to a modification of the protein structure of the enzyme. For this purpose: a) cross-assays and heating ones were performed in order to look for the existence of a compound, that present in porphyric animals, would be responsible for the decrease of PCL activity found in them; b) the effect in vitro of HCB, HCB metabolites and other related compounds was studied to find the inhibitor of PCL activity and to look for a relation structure-inhibitory effect; c) hepatic PCL from porphyric and normal rats was purified, and enzyme properties were comparatively studied looking for structural differences between the enzymes obtained from both animal lots. The results indicate that: a) the heat deproteinized porphyric liver preparation produces an inhibition on the normal preparation, but it is smaller than the decrease produced in vivo by the HCB on this enzyme activity, thus other reasons may explain this behavior of PCL in intoxicated animals; b) the HCB had no effect on PCL activity, the phenolic compounds exhibited inhibitions of variable extent that were increased by the presence of electrophilic substituents on the benzenic ring. Pentachlorophenol, the main HCB metabolite, produced inhibition in the in vitro assays, but at doses that were not physiologically significant; thus, it seems not to be the inhibitor found in the heating assays; c) purification of 110 times for the hepatic PCL of both porphyric and normal rats was obtained. Incubation conditions, the effect of salts and chelating agents, the chromatographic behavior in DEAE-cellulose and Sephadex G-100 columns, were comparatively studied with both enzymatic preparations. The effect of sodium diethyldithiocarbamate, sodium pyrophosphate, dithiothreitol, temperature, pH and O2, as well as the chromatographic behavior, would suggest that structural differences in the PCL of porphyric animals may exist; the presence of a thermostable inhibitor could also contribute to the decrease of PCL activity due to HCB.

The vinegar only initiates a rapid exfoliation process at the deeper layers of the derma. It is your immune system that has to be enhanced before this process can be effective. The Rx, 5FU Flurouracil (not sure if I spelled that correctly) is a liquid that is frequently used to treat actinic keratosis. It reaches down to the lower layers of derma also and brings about a very rapid exfoliation process. However, when I used it once, my pollen allergies became worse, so I suspect that it has a degrading effect on the immune system, which would render it useless.
Are you getting enough direct sunlight London? We have an elderly lady friend who was experiencing a large number of lesions on her legs. She refused to stop smoking so we did our best with changing her diet and getting her out into the sun for at least an hour per day. She is back down to an occasional lesion that resembles a pimple now and then. Your water source is also vitally important. Stop eating ALL processed food. Go to the market, get fresh food, and cook it like our Grandmothers used to, and get moderate exercise. Make yourself stronger than the bug, and then start the exfoliation process. In about three weeks the brain fog starts to clear significantly.
I am doing two things at this time that may be of interest to the group.

2) Reading up on the integration of GM crops into our food supply. I am particularly interested in GM crops, and biopesticides that utilize bacillus thuringiensis for pest control. The FDA and USDA have rubber stamped agra industry studies which acknowledge that we are consuming large quantities of endotoxins, but claim that endotoxins have no detrimental effect upon humans. Oh really????

Here is a question that I would like to ask of those who are much more adept at understanding human biological terms than I.
The agra industry claims that the unusually high amount of endotoxins that we began to consume in the mid 90s as a result of the wide integration of genetically modified crops and biopesticides have no significant effect upon humans.
Why then would this patented process for the removal of excess endotoxins from the blood stream be necessary?
.........and yet another question that I am just not qualified to answer.
Considering that high endotoxin count may not necessarily have a detrimental effect upon the human organism, what affects are exhibited upon the host of symbiotic bacteria that we depend upon within our bodies?

Does the bacillus thuringiensis bacterium have the ability to become established either in whole form, or by genetic alteration within the human organism? It seems to form crystals of proteinaceous insecticidal δ-endotoxins (Cry toxins) within its hosts. Some have suggested that our bodies are forming crystals. Any relation?
