The Fiber DiseaseModerator: BioTeam Maggie Mae,
I almost forgot, I got you a special holiday gift.....I think you will like it too....... http://books.nap.edu/openbook.php?recor ... 58&page=49 _______________________________ And would you look here......me oh my....... Optical dissolved oxygen lifetime sensor based on sol-gel immobilisation The development of an optical fibre sensor for the measurement of dissolved oxygen based on sol-gel immobilisation technology and phase fluorimetric analysis is investigated. The sensor is based on indicator-mediated sensing where the optical properties of an intermediate reagent are modulated in response to the concentration of analyte. The fluorescent lifetime of an oxygen indicator, tris(1, 10-phenanthroline)ruthenium(II) chloride hydrate is shown to be quenched in the presence of dissolved oxygen. Changes in fluorescent lifetime are measured using phase modulation techniques, the phase shift in the fluorescence emission of the fluorophore is measured as a function of the dissolved oxygen concentration. Sol-gel technology is utilised to immobilise the indicator at the distal end of a multi-mode optical fibre using dip-coating techniques. The selection of the sol-gel precursor compound is found to be of critical importance in the performance of the sensor, with organically modified silicates displaying the best performance. http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/freeabs_ ... mber=29149 To JJill, You mentioned a possible cure??? I read it's irreversible. I hope you are right. ___________________________ Who needs that Dr. Strainiger????? http://www.google.com/search?q=Sol-deri ... f8&oe=utf8 maybe someone can pass the above onto the Jeff Rense show..... _______________________________ Oh Look! Merry Christmas All!
London, Sorry to say that I have no cure to offer up- just what has made me better. Just the basics that I've posted about before- no news flashes. Reading MFROMCANADA's theory- (reposted by Nadas) and doing a little Google nets this: http://www.coe.neu.edu/Research/robots/papers/JCTN.pdf *** Excerpt: Enzymes such as kinesin- RNA polymerase, mycosin, gynein and adenosine triphosphate (ATP_ synthase function as nanoscale linear, oscillatory or rotary biological motors. end excerpt See section 2- the flagella serves as a motor - Biomolecular motors- self replicating and cheaper for mass usage- readily available in nature. Add the above to a people who already have the Mycoplasma Fermentans incognitus (which Dr Hilleman, Chief Virologist for Merch,Sharpe & Dohme, stated was EVERYONE IN NORTH AMERICA and possibly the world, now has Mycoplasma Fermentans incognitus in their body)- and the stage is set. The above source is Northeastern University- *** What is key about Northeastern (IMO) is that it is the home of the Gorbachev Foundation. http://www.gfna.net/brochure.htm Takes me back to the shoe pounding episode at the UN with Nikita Krushchev giving the "We will BURY YOU" speech. Didn't he mention something about taking over without firing a shot? Back to the Gorbachev Foundation- what the heck is he doing in Boston anyway? Excerpt: " In October 1917, we parted with the Old World, rejecting it once and for all. We are moving toward a new world, the world of Communism. We shall never turn off that road." He also went on to say that the changes in the Soviet Union were for cosmetic purposes and that their aim was to disarm the Americans and let them fall asleep. According to the New York Times of Dec. 26, 1989, Gorbachev said, " I am a Communist, a convinced Communist. For some that may be a fantasy. But for me it is my main goal." Notice this comment was made just after the fall of the Berlin Wall. In his own words Gorbachev states that we are moving toward world Communism and that Communism is his main goal. http://www.newswithviews.com/Ohara/debbie11.htm The shoe pounder got his wish? A glimpse at the Gorbachev persona: Excerpt: And do not be deceived into thinking Gorbachev was not an absolute dictator. From 1986-1989, newspapers and magazines reported continuously that Gorbachev had amassed more power than had even Josef Stalin. Also make no mistake that Gorbachev was, and is, a dictator without conscience. Gorbachev was the one who authorized Soviet Armed Forces in Afghanistan to spread small cluster bombs from the air. These cluster bombs were designed to look like toys so Afghan children would pick them up, only to have them explode in their hands. The objective was not to kill these children, but to maim them, under the premise that Afghan society would experience more of a drain taking care of maimed children than they would just burying them. Despite media image to the contrary, Mikhail Gorbachev is a very ruthless man. http://www.cuttingedge.org/ce1088.html Also interesting that Gorbachev was a keynote speaker at the annual Spring meeting of the Massachusetts Software Council- IT. Software? A Foundation in Boston? What is this adding up to? *** So, to recap my thoughts- the stages or layers of disease would go something like this: 1- Mycoplasma http://nexusmagazine.com/articles/mycoplasma.html "Pathogenic Mycoplasma", US Patent No. 5,242,820 2- Chronic Fatigue, Lyme, Fibromyalgia, etc... 3- The above info from MF from Canada - iow- the ability to use the already in place flagella- (think Lyme - keets- flagella) for Nano whatever per the above info 4- Add to the above the varibles- anything else that the individual may be exposed to- such as Tam Tam's -Rhinosporidium seeberi- http://medtech.cls.msu.edu/faculty/mendoza.html BTW, Dr Mendoza- the much quoted researcher in the area of Rhinosporidum seeberi, cured the Queens Swans of the disease: http://www.thamesweb.co.uk/swans/ swa n_p rojectPR03.htm Excerpt: Dr.Mendoza found his picture and an article about his contribution tosaving the lives of some of the Queen's swans. The Queen had provided swans to Orange Lake Resort & Country Club in Lakeland Florida several years ago. Dr.Mendoza was consulted when the swans developed what appeared to be a fungal disease. He diagnosed Rhinosporidiosis and appropriate treatment was instituted. The story now appears on the Queen's website. Dr. Mendoza is best known for his unique expertise on a fungal-like organism called Pythium insidiosum that causes lethal infections in horses, dogs, cats and humans. Hehas developed a treatment, a sort of post-infection vaccine, that is effective in about 70% of infected horses and has some success in other animals as well. The patent on this product, and a pending patent on a latex test for Pythium have been licensed by a start up company that plans to seek USDA approval for the products and to market them to the veterinary community. Oversimplified, but that is the basic outline. Merry Christmas! "When you dine with the devil, bring a long spoon."

Wow, thanks a lot JJill. Interesting, I will say that....but I'm sticking to the metallporhyrins, white noise-infrasound fiber theory. Just read so much it is hard to not see it now. (granted, I don't know what 1/2 of it means); but I will go back and read Nadas' and Mrcpvis post. I missed about 3-5 pages due to being gone for the holidays. And Merry Christmas to you too. I value your opinion.
___________________________ This is something I found last week and wanted to share it. Re: Space R e s e a r c h & Te c h n o l o g y R e p o r t 1 9 9 Human Exploration and Development of Space NASA/FISK University Center for Photonic Materials and Devices Director: Dr. Enrique Silberman Fisk University Nashville, TN 37208 Date of Original Award: 1992 INTRODUCTION The NASA/Fisk University Center aims at performing research and developing technologies relevant to NASA.s mission, focusing in the field of photonics. Research in photonics has made possible the development of new technologies that have produced revolutionary changes in communications, computing, robotics, medicine, environmental control, and many industrial processes. Additionally, the potential reputation of the center will attract an increased number of disadvantaged and underrepresented students, both graduate and undergraduate, and will motivate them to pursue careers relevant to the NASA mission. RESEARCH ACCOMPLISHMENTS The NASA/Fisk University Center has focused its research on one of the most promising branches of photonics.one that produces new materials or improves the production of known materials, which are the initial stage of the development of most new advanced technologies. One research group uses recently developed nanotechnology methods to produce new materials that contain inclusions of single atoms or clusters of new atoms. These materials show surprising new properties, such as being able to change the color of light beams (which may increase the capacity of computer memories and compact disks), and to switch light beams on and off in extremely short times. This may lead to the development of optical computers, which are potentially much faster and more efficient than electronic ones. Recently, this group has contributed to resolving a long-standing controversy on how the clusters change their properties as they grow from a few atoms to their final size (published in Physical Review, 1996). The research of this group drew attention, which resulted in five invited talks at national laboratories and universities and drew new collaborations and financial support from two NASA Installations: Lewis Research Center (Photovoltaics) and Marshall Space Flight Center (Polymer Division). Another group studies new crystalline materials for the detection of light, x-rays, and gamma rays. This research includes purifying the materials, growing the crystals, determining their physical and chemical properties, and making and testing detectors. These solid-state detectors have a wide range of applications in industrial production control, military equipment, satellite studies of space and the Earth, and medical diagnostic equipment. This group was awarded a patent for a noncontact device to measure the temperature of crystals growing in a sealed glass ampoule, allowing for a better choice of growth conditions. Another patent is pending for the measurement of other growth parameters. Also, this group has delivered to Marshall Space Flight Center an original instrument for the ultra-purification of chemicals used in crystal growth. A collaboration with Goddard Space Flight Center was started, leading to the testing of laboratory-built x-ray and gamma ray detectors in Goddard Space Flight Center balloon flights. A third group is working with glasses and other optical materials, which could be used to make new laser sources, improve information storage technology, and develop optical sensors. Glasses have the advantage of easily being formed into whatever shape is required and, in particular, can be drawn into very thin optical fibers. Some of the glasses being studied at Fisk can be used to convert infrared light into visible light, and others are photosensitive glasses, which can be used to make fiber-optic strain, vibration, and temperature sensors. This group has produced a new glass (Erbium doped-lead-telluriumgermanate), which efficiently transforms invisible infrared to green light (usable for better disk memories), and a new crystal (Vanadium doped-cadmium-sulfer-selenide), which has the optical properties required for making compact reversible holographic memories with greater capacity than anything presently available. Finally, a fourth group possesses the most modern equipment for studying the physical structure and chemical composition of solid surfaces. This enables measurements to be made up to the limit of locating single atoms, and to be made in environments from normal atmospheres to ultra-high vacuum. These techniques provide important information for the improvement of the fabrication processes involving solid surfaces, including the extra-thin multilayers that constitute integrated circuits. They are also useful in the determination of damage suffered by equipment components due to their use, exposure to the environment, and so forth.

Sorry to just now be seeing it. Skipped town for the holidays here and am catching up. I hope your daughter had a great day as well. Thanks Nadas.
Hope everyone had a great holiday. Peace, Sabrina
Yes, I am with Tam Tam, what do we need to do;
to Unite? It seems to me that we are as disparate a bunch as you'd ever find, but we are all in the same boat. So, litigation requires cash, or a Pro bono beneficiary from the Law. Surely there would be a lawyer around to take depositions from people, to Listen and advocate. A thought, what about that female senator who wrote to the CDC in respect of this? What about the author, John Grisham, he was a Lawyer. The point I make is that someone of credibilty, guts and ethics is needed. Lets talk litigation, I have had polypeptide polymers up to my ears. Lets see, 8 years of suppurating lesions, 8 years of criical cynicism from the medicos, 8 years being called crazy, 8 years of working in pain at about 30 % capacity. 8 years of hell. Lets put the pain and suffering alone at, say US$75k/PA, thats US$600k. Lets put Loss of earnings at US$35kpa, thatsUS$280k. Lets put US$200k for disfigurement and say a cool US$1,000,000 for loss of trust and other damages. So, lets do the sums;US$2,800,000.00 Sounds about right, considering a guy in England at work got a knock to his head, became sexually disinhibited, sought the company of hookers, lost his marriage; he recieved AU$7,500,000.00. Tam, you could help, by giving us in laymans terms, the etiology, the causative effects, basically a complete, succinct summation of this disorder, as we cannot expect a legal expert to trawl through such a convoluted morass of techno-garble, fear and plain madness. We need a mission statement, we also need a precis facto document covering A-B, understandable to a layman in medical science
Glow little glow worm flier fire
Glow like an incandescent wire Glow for the female of the specie Turn on the AC and the DC This night could use a little brightening Light up your little bug of lightning When you gotta glow you gotta glow Glow little glow worm glow (Glowworm lyrics) hehehe it just does'nt get any better than this. I'm telling you, what will they think of next? To PPY18: You mentioned snails a couple of weeks back, as I told you, I would def. look back into it. What I found is that they are using the bioluminescence (sp?) of the red dye from the snail worm. Here are two articles on it. I have not finished this first one yet but it looks like a winner to me....it goes with the quaint lil piece of poetry at the top. http://www.med.upenn.edu/bmbgrad/Facult ... scence.pdf and here is the other one specifically about the snail worm. Looks like the chemical society of Japan has this in the semiconductors that fire our computers. Damn and Hell. This sucks rocks. http://www.chemistry.or.jp/journals/bcs ... c78-7.html I'm off to read these myself, I hope you find them useful- London
well, as I was reading I came across something called the south american railroad worm. Of course I googled it and got the following from one of the articles.
Basic and Applied Aspects of Color Tuning of Bioluminescence Systems Yoshihiro Ohmiya* Research Institute for Cell Engineering, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Light and Control Research Area, PRESTO, Japan Science and Technology Agency, 1-8-31 Midorigaoka, Ikeda, Osaka 563-8577, Japan (Received January 21, 2005; accepted May 22, 2005; published September 8, 2005) Abstract: V. Viviani et al. [Biochemistry 38 (1999) 8271] were the first to succeed in cloning the red-emitting enzyme from the South American railroad worm, which is the only bioluminescent organism known to emit a red-colored light. The application of red bioluminescence has been our goal because the transmittance of longer-wavelength light is superior to that of the other colors for visualization of biological functions in living cells. Now, different color luciferases, which emit with wavelength maxima ranging from 400 to 630 nm, are available and are being used. For example, based on different color luciferases, Nakajima et al. developed a tricolor reporter in vitro assay system based on these different color luciferases in which the expression of three genes can be monitored simultaneously. On the other hand, bioluminescence resonance energy transfer (BRET) is a natural phenomenon caused by the intermolecular interaction between a bioluminescent protein and a fluorophore on a second protein, resulting in the light from the bioluminescence reaction having the spectrum of the fluorophore. Otsuji et al. [Anal. Biochem. 329 (2004) 230] showed that the change in the efficiency of energy transfer in intramolecular BRET can quantify cellular functions in living cells. In this review, I introduce the basic mechanisms of color tuning in bioluminescent systems and new applications based on color tuning in the life sciences. http://jjap.ipap.jp/link?JJAP/44/6368 Then, oh shoot, this one here that I found says a lot too....has the eggs and this type of info in it.....beetle larvae anyone?>??? http://creatures.ifas.ufl.edu/misc/beet ... -worms.htm
