Regarding one of the mosquitoe bite looking sores. I removed the material and observed it under a microscope. The black fibers which are wound around something looks exactly like the above. If anyone had knowledge of how to treat this type of infestation I would like to give it a try. These exact images are available on any Morgellons or Fiber Disease site images.

Hey all,

Evolution happening through quorum sensing of prokayotes and eucaryotes. This must be the main deal. RIGHT IN OUR OWN GUTS>>>>>>

ADDITIONAL ASPECTS OF QUORUM SENSING IN THE INTESTINE

Prokaryotic-eukaryotic communication. There are several examples of prokaryotic-eukaryotic communication in which bacterial signals can modulate expression of eukaryotic genes or vice versa in cross-kingdom communication. One of the AIs of P. aeruginosa (3-oxo-C12-HSL) has immunomodulatory activity, and it can downregulate tumor necrosis factor alpha and interleukin-12 production in leukocytes (81) and upregulate expression of the proinflammatory cytokine gamma interferon (70). This same molecule has also been shown to stimulate interleukin-8 production in human lung fibroblasts and epithelial cells through a mechanism involving the eukaryotic transcription factors NF-kappa B and activator protein 2 (69). Although not yet linked to modulating transcription of eukaryotic genes, the cytolysin of E. faecalis, which serves as an autoinducer of expression of the enterococcal cyl operon, also has toxic effects on erythrocytes, retinal tissues, intestinal epithelial cells, neutrophils, and macrophages (11). The converse situation (i.e., a eukaryotic factor affecting transcription of prokaryotic genes) is demonstrated by the effect of epinephrine and norepinephrine on transcription of genes encoding the TTS system and flagella in EHEC and EPEC, as described above. In E. faecalis infections, host cell membranes can selectively bind CylLL", thereby allowing the unbound CylLS" peptide to increase cytolysin expression via a QS mechanism (12). Additional examples of eukaryotic interference with bacterial QS in non-GI systems have been reported. Human airway epithelial cells produce a substance, as yet unidentified, that inactivates the 3-oxo-C12-HSL signaling molecule produced by P. aeruginosa (9). In yet another kingdom, the red alga Delisea pulchra produces halogenated furanones that inhibit QS mechanisms of the plant pathogen Erwinia carotovora (39). No doubt other examples of eukaryotic-prokaryotic communication involving QS systems will be discovered as additional hosts, body niches, and signaling molecules are examined

This proves that BACTERIA IN EXCESS causes disease just like Bechamp said, so a number of things going on here.........

[b]A fundamental property of QS is that the greater the density of bacteria, the greater the density of signaling molecules and the greater the opportunity for cell-to-cell communication. There is no environment in the human body with a greater density of bacteria and a greater potential for cell-to-cell signaling than the GI tract. The first report of QS regulating virulence factors of GI pathogens appeared only 6 years ago, and numerous reports documenting QS mechanisms in a variety of enteric pathogens have appeared since that initial report.
There is clearly much more to be learned about QS in the GI tract, but with our increased understanding of this phenomenon, new insights will emerge regarding the virulence mechanisms of enteric pathogens, as well as the development and maintenance of our commensal intestinal microbial flora.

Great Sky.....I remeber talking to you about the PILI a cple of weeks back....I trhink you were on the fusarium at that time though.....I have not been well. I did manage to get a temp teaching job though,,, no more subbing....I guess that is good since I am in debt and have not sold my car yet, but just do not think I'm physically capable if all day working., I have gotten worse, not better, my head constatnly hurts...and my eyes always burn and water....at least when I'm on the computer.....you guys do know they have put stuff into our neural interfaces don't you.....maybe not all of them, but yep., some of them....
....BUBBLE PACKAGING....bubble disease....
here's my post....have a good weekend; I need a small handgun...LOL

yeah, I still do think the parasitoid wasp is helping further this along byt the toxins of it's venom and the chemical reactions it spurs in the virulent plants, then to us.....but just yesterday, I saw again, the title to an article that said the disease outbrake in Texas was Murine Typhus....aka Cat-scratch Disease or call it trench fever. Now, the CDC says all three of those are simply another name for late stage HIV. But, when I reread Murine typhus yesterday, it said that it will show the first signs of infections w/in 6 days. You see, I was bit 23 X by fleas in July of 04. I came down with this machine made disease in August 05. Needless to say, a lot more than 6 days had passed by.

But yes, GM plants, transgenic insects (which you know, they do have to re-put the the pathenongen back out there in environment before the transgeic mosquitoes become resistant.) Now, yes it is the grains and the aphids and the wasp and it always will be in my book as far as the worst of the worst in biotech cloning and biocontrol, They just set those lil "No see-ums wasp loose in the food warehouses where the grains just sit out in the open. This is crazy! But hey, it saves our USDA money and well, we know that is way more than our health.....the lil beetle aphid head and the crazy asp wasp trying to kill it and go into its body and hatch out later..... I just do not get how in the hell that is related to the water system though. Also, yes, it's the cry 9 and the Bt endotoxins they clone these transgenic plants with
that is also hurting us. So, yeah, hell yeah, we can just say we have Anthrax b/c it is one in the same as Bt really.

Now I have read the last 8 hours on how bad the water system is,,,,specifically groundwater systems. The water from the plants to the ocean to the estuaries are so filled with the toxic pollutants.....dang, all the algea and hydroweed in the lakes are suffocating our fish now do to global warming......and the atmospheric pressure is not helping my disease one bit. But back to the water......okay, the ruman bacteria they get from the crud they feed the cows and all that pollution....the chickens too....Wanna kknow what they are doing with those chicken parts that they can't use....you know, the guts, the bones, all of it (feathers too) well, they are grinding it all back up and refeeding the animals with it.

also, they feed the shrimp on farms that lil scab/worm thing I found 3 weeks ago.....it's fish food and well, some of us eat the shrimp and fish...

But about 5 nights ago I just sat here and thought...retraced my steps of when and how my left forarm broke out. It was way back in November....I will say this...I think (guessing) that the lesions that did have those lil white egg-looking things in them were indeed the wasp larvae/pupae....I dunno, but suspect so, b ut the other tough line bumps...what in the hell is that ? I guess the chemicla reactions to something...And by the way, that is as close as the CDC will ever get to nameing our disease....just chemical reactions to toxins.....ahhhaaaaa just a few minutes ago, I saw article that said, that insect stings (bees and wasp, spiders too) was expected to go up 40% this Fall 06! Can you believe it?

I don't believe it anymore.....hell no, it's something far worse than an insect sting. Plus, when in the hell did insect stings start lasting 9 months? HUH? I'm telling ya, it is the water....the rivers....the lakes.....

but remember when TamTam kept talking about the airports and we could not tell what he was talking about or trying to tell us? I found it earlier today.....it is the jet fuels that are transported via pipes from the gas stations/ well , ususally, out the airports...... they (these morning articles I read just screamed that it was the J8 in the jet fuels? I dunno, but I do know something else......

okay, back to the water. You see, I must first tell you that this is all about global warming and the damn trees .....the tree is way more important than the human., I personally don't really give a **** if a tree is on this earth in 50 years or not. If I had grandchildren...well, hey, they would just have to fry and suffocate....(LOL, just kidding.)
But this is what I read and I believe these tree-hugging freakos are wanting to do....In 25 years, they hope to have humans off the USA and this is in the plans to be one gigantic dome called a Biosphere! Yep,. they are going to put Jurvetsons dinosoure clones out to roam the new synthetic forest that will be covering our usa from From Florida to Californina.....whatever......hell, I think half of them think they will be liveing on another planet anyway....yeah, they need to take their little fake ancient human dolls made of silicate with them.....(you know, that crap they make our fake parasites with...huh David R???? you and yoour lil synthetic genome.....

Where is the Smoking Man? I have not seen him and I sure would like to chat with him....(And, Molly M, great post by the way....I just don;t think the CDC has a say so in what they can and can't do about our machine made disease....I mean they could at least say that we are either going to have leukemia and need a full bone transplant or that we have AIDS, b/c that is what is gonna happen.....everyone of these lupus, dengue, whatever....all the diseases and autoimmune ones too looks like they will turn into this.....hey, but one can get that just by smoling a transgenic cigarette and by eating some watermellon....yep, they have us headed for hell in a handbasket....F-sticks......

So, I must finsih telling you about the water being so polluted.....now get this...whomever is in charge of this new, up and coming synthetic forest that will lay like a beutiful canopy over America....well, this person said whoa.....now hold on a minute......

We have to start practicing now for our bisphere home.....hell no you cannot use the water purification plants.....cheaters.....you must start now and practice the au'naturel way if life.....and I kid you not, this is the honest to Gods truth, I read it this morning.....that they have been using for a while now,.....just bugs and bacteria and pathenogens and blah, blah,,,,to simply clean the water....from sludge, poop, oils, diesel fuels,,,,all of this crap we have been bathing in....I mnean , hey, the fungi, and algea may have done a good job cleaning us...but does that not piss the S out of you? ARG.....

okay, last thing...My stance on this is radiation poisioning and extremely toxic from their poisions....
This is from photon fusion.....electromagnetic forces and electrostatic forces from the PLASMAS!!!!! This is what I have anyway.....and as I said earlier, I was reflecting on how the lesions started out on my forarm....and that answer
is with clear bubbles....not white bubbles......

and if you do some homeork,.,,,you will find that this is what is killing a lot of our fish.....going over the damns in suicides because of the atmospheric pressures,......

wwwwwhy do you think we have that HURTFUL INNER EAR PAIN????? huh????? YOU HAVE A BUBBLE THAT HAS FORMED....(my opinion)
AND.... MY EYE???? THOSE BLACK SPOTS AND HALOS I SEE?> THE DOC could not find anything wrong but that i needed glasses...well guess what I found out the problem was probably from? You got it...a bubble has formed behind the retina...or the optic nerve....

now, this is sort of like the bends that divers sometimes get, they go for like 8 hours in this thing called a hyperbaric chamber to decompress. Do you think this would work on us? please let me know....

ohhhh, my last thing.....I found a good one the other day...ThERE IS INDEED A MICRO ORGANISM THAT WRAPS ITSELF IN FIBERS AND STINGS US.....YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO GUESS THIS ONE.....AND YES, IT DAMAGES THE CROPS WITH THE WASP CHASING IT AS WELL....HINT...THIS ONE IS BAD ON THE TREES THOUGH (yea!!!!) BUT THE BIOTECH BUBBLE BOYS HAVE TURNED AROUND AND MADE USE OF IT TO CLEAN UP THE PULLUTIONS SOME WAY OR ANOTHER.... and you wanna know why they have not told us about it? Because it wraps it's butt up in the fibers out on the cotton field and a lot of time, they can not get it out...so we are buying clothes, matereials with this microorganism already in it (sometimes, not always.) is this not getting crazier everyday? and like I posted the other Sunday, the aspergillis toxin is getting in the cotton out on the fields....then we use it in our ears and on our faces.....yikes.....this world id filthly!

and my last but surely not least comment/ and or hint to you .....Remember that collembola we eventually quit talking about.....yes, well, this is not the one I'm referring to about the fiberballs, but you can darn sure believe this....it is more involved than we would ever care to know.....the lil collembola that springs from my eyelashes....god, that just sounds so awful....(feels it too.)

Okay, ready for you hate replies that I don;t give a damn about....and maybe, if you're sick and suffering like I am, that you will take everything I said and look it up for yourself. I have not told anything but the truth.

plasmas, solar energy. chemical toxins, and my new one....ther bubble disease......which has in turn created as one of the symptoms/ illnesses in me called polycethima Vera or you can call it Primary myelfibrosis.....

Bacteria, Beware: New Finding About E Coli Could Block Infections, Lead To Better Treatments
Main Category: MRSA / Drug Resistance News
Article Date: 28 Jun 2006 - 4:00am (PDT)

A newly discovered receptor in a strain of Escherichia coli can be blocked to avert infection, a finding that might aid in developing better therapies to treat bacterial infections resulting in food poisoning, diarrhea or plague.
Researchers at UT Southwestern Medical Center are the first to identify the receptor, known as QseC, used by a diarrhea-causing strain of E coli to receive signals from human flora and hormones in the intestine and express virulence genes to initiate infection.
In a study made available online this week and in an upcoming issue of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, researchers describe how they used phentolamine, an alpha blocker drug used to treat hypertension, to successfully impede signaling to the receptor. Without such signals, bacteria then pass blindly through the digestive tract without infecting cells.
"This receptor is found in many pathogens, so we can use this knowledge to design specific antagonists to block bacterial infections," said Dr. Vanessa Sperandio, senior author of the study and assistant professor of microbiology at UT Southwestern.
Prior research by Dr. Sperandio found that when a person ingests the more virulent enterohemorrhagic E coli, or EHEC - which is usually transmitted through contaminated food such as raw meat - it travels peacefully through the digestive tract until reaching the intestine. There, however, chemicals produced by the friendly gastrointestinal microbial flora and the human hormones epinephrine and norepinephrine alert the bacteria to its location.
This cellular cross talk triggers a cascade of genetic activations prompting EHEC to colonize and translocate toxins into cells, altering the makeup of the cells and robbing the body of nutrients. An infected person may develop bloody diarrhea or even hemolytic uremic syndrome, which can cause death in immune-weakened people, the elderly and young children.
The new study identifies QseC as the specific receptor by which EHEC senses the signals. When the receptor binds to signaling molecules, the bacterium can infect cells.

"Although nickel is known to be carcinogenic in humans it is still widely used in certain dental alloys. Researchers at the University of Alabama now report that other components of dental alloys (beryllium, chromium, and molybdenum) as well as nickel affect the very basic function of human cells - the production of energy (ATP). ATP is produced in the mitochondria of cells and involves highly oxidative processes. It is becoming increasingly clear that abnormalities in the mitochondrial processes are important causes of human disease. Some researchers believe that a slowing down of these processes actually heralds the very first stage in the proliferation of abnormal cells and cancer.
The Alabama researchers exposed cultures of human gingival (gum) cells to solutions of nickel, beryllium, chromium (tri- and hexavalent) and molybdenum (hexavalent) for periods of 24 and 72 hours. They then measured the energy production and oxygen consumption of the cells' mitochondria in the various solutions. Cells in contact with nickel or hexavalent chromium were most affected and showed decreased ATP (energy) production as well as a decrease in oxygen consumption. The effects of beryllium, molybdenum, and trivalent chromium were similar, but less pronounced. The researchers conclude that their findings may be the first indication that some components of common dental alloys may be detrimental to human health. They urge further research to establish possible synergisms between mixtures of these different metals on mitochondrial energy production. [54 references]

"The uncensored documents reveal that Soviet military scientists had successfully used microwaves of the type used by mobile phones to weaken the blood brain barrier. US Army scientists had succeeded in duplicating the Soviet experiments by 1977--eight years before mobile phones became generally available in Britain. This work was done as a result of microwave bombardments of the United States Embassy in Moscow as well as reports about research by the Soviets. At that particular time the safety standards for exposure to radio frequency radiation in the Soviet Union was significantly more stringent than United States standards by almost 1000 times. Russian and other East European countries' exposure standards for radio frequency and microwave radiation are much stricter that in the U.S or Western Europe.

Western standard setting organizations have emphasized protection from RF/MW thermal effects...while Russia's more restrictive standard also reflects a concern over non-thermal effects and subjective symptoms. Biological studies of enzymes and human cells exposed in vitro to radio frequency/microwave fields have shown a number of effects which cannot be explained simply by the heating effects of radiation on which our current standards are based. These include changes in cell membrane permeability to potassium, sodium and calcium; changes in the composition or behavior of blood-forming and immunological cells; alteration of calcium ion exchange in nerve tissue; changes in the firing patterns of neurons; and changes in levels of cancer related enzymes. Very close range exposure to microwaves from a cellular phone base station increases the effect of a chemical mutagen on human blood cells, leading to increased chromosomal aberrations."

Plasma interaction with microbes

Abstract. The germicidal effects of a non-equilibrium atmospheric pressure plasma generated by a novel resistive barrier discharge on representatives of the two classes of bacteria (Gram-negative and Gram-positive) are discussed. The plasma exposure, while being lethal to both bacterial classes, also produced gross structural damage in the Gram-negative E. coli while none was observed in the more structurally robust Gram-positive Bacillus subtilis. An electrophysical process involving the role of the electrostatic tension on a charged body in a plasma is invoked to explain both observations. Since the efficacy of this electrophysical process depends not only on the tensile strength of the bacterial cell wall but also on its shape and texture, the need for more experimental studies, using a wide range of bacteria belonging to various morphological groups, is suggested. Ways to further test the validity of this electrophysical lysis mechanism for Gram-negative bacteria on one hand, and also to extend its operation to the more robust Gram-positive bacteria on the other, are suggested.

Biological And Health Effects Of Exposure To Kerosene-Based Jet Fuels And Performance Additives
Over 2 million military and civilian personnel per year (over 1 million in the United States) are occupationally exposed, respectively, to jet propulsion fuel-8 (JP-8), JP-8 +100 or JP-5, or to the civil aviation equivalents Jet A or Jet A-1. Approximately 60 billion gallons of these kerosene-based jet fuels are annually consumed worldwide (26 billion gallons in the United States), including over 5 billion gallons of JP-8 by the militaries of the United States and other NATO countries. JP-8, for example, represents the largest single chemical exposure in the U.S. military (2.53 billion gallons in 2000), while Jet A and A-1 are among the most common sources of nonmilitary occupational chemical exposure. Although more recent figures were not available, approximately 4.06 billion gallons of kerosene per se were consumed in the United States in 1990 (IARC, 1992). These exposures may occur repeatedly to raw fuel, vapor phase, aerosol phase, or fuel combustion exhaust by dermal absorption, pulmonary inhalation, or oral ingestion routes. Additionally, the public may be repeatedly exposed to lower levels of jet fuel vapor/aerosol or to fuel combustion products through atmospheric contamination, or to raw fuel constituents by contact with contaminated groundwater or soil. Kerosene-based hydrocarbon fuels are complex mixtures of up to 260+ aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbon compounds (C6 -C17+; possibly 2000+ isomeric forms), including varying concentrations of potential toxicants such as benzene, n-hexane, toluene, xylenes, trimethylpentane, methoxyethanol, naphthalenes (including polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons [PAHs], and certain other C9-C12 fractions (i.e., n-propylbenzene, trimethylbenzene isomers). While hydrocarbon fuel exposures occur typically at concentrations below current permissible exposure limits (PELs) for the parent fuel or its constituent chemicals, it is unknown whether additive or synergistic interactions among hydrocarbon constituents, up to six performance additives, and other environmental exposure factors may result in unpredicted toxicity. While there is little epidemiological evidence for fuel-induced death, cancer, or other serious organic disease in fuel-exposed workers, large numbers of self-reported health complaints in this cohort appear to justify study of more subtle health consequences. A number of recently published studies reported acute or persisting biological or health effects from acute, subchronic, or chronic exposure of humans or animals to kerosene-based hydrocarbon fuels, toconstituent chemicals of these fuels, or to fuel combustion products. This review provides an in-depth summary of human, animal, and in vitro studies of biological or health effects from exposure to JP-8, JP-8 +100, JP-5, Jet A, Jet A-1, or kerosene.

A new gas lesion syndrome in man, induced by "isobaric gas counterdiffusion"

Normal men have been found to develop pruritis and gas bubble lesions in the skin, and disruption of vestibular function, when breathing nitrogen or neon with oxygen while surrounded by helium at increased ambient pressure. This phenomenon, which occurs at stable ambient pressures, at 1 or many ATA, has been designated the "isobaric gas counterdiffusion syndrome." In a series of analyses and experiments in vivo and in vitro the cause of the syndrome has been established as due to gas accumulation and development of gas bubbles in tissues as a result of differences in selective diffusivities, for various respired and ambient gases, in the tissue substances between capillary blood and the surrounding atmosphere. The phenomenon here described in man is an initial stage of a process shown later in animals to progress to continuous, massive, lethal, intravascular gas embolization.

So maybe it's from all the nitrogen in our environment....nitrates?

given that London is not feeling to well i should try to not support some of the more extreme notions that are being hinted at...
but in the name of "modern Science" some of the tone is parallel with bio monitering and tracking thru cavitation and acoustic beams...
i'm familliar with the technique and it is one of thorns in my side... classic
dual use in industry, same goes on in chimestry, electronics, mechanics and the rest of appllied science.
.... i know i have a file that is more recent but its not at hand .... but heres a snip ..

"Oct 19 Dr. Mike Bailey, Center for Industrial and Medical Ultrasound (CIMU), Applied Physics Laboratory, University of Washington

Cavitation in Lithotripsy and High Intensity Focused Ultrasound Therapy

Shock Wave Lithotripsy (SWL), which uses focused shock waves to break up kidney stones, is a common and successful clinical procedure. However, tissue injury also results in most if not all treatments. Cavitation (bubble action) likely plays a role in both breakup and tissue damage. High intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) is used to thermally necrose tumors or cauterize bleeds. Treatment area control and image guidance are two challenges that have slowed clinical acceptance. Bubbles likely play a role in distorting the lesion shape but may be very helpful in ultrasound guidance. At CIMU we are interested in better understanding cavitation's role in lithotripsy and HIFU and controlling it to improve both procedures. Some of our efforts are discussed in this seminar. First, the in vivo results of work begun at UT and ARL are reported. Manipulation of the phasing but not the amplitude of a lithotripsy pulse reduced tissue injury and cavitation. Second, overpressure (elevated static pressure) reduced tissue injury, probably by suppressing cavitation. Our hypothesis is that at atmospheric pressure, bubbles created by one lithotripter pulse act as cavitation nuclei for subsequent pulses and that overpressure accelerates the dissolution of the bubbles. Numerical calculations and experimental results support the hypothesis. Third, in HIFU, lesion shape distortion, believed caused by scattering from bubbles created thermally or acoustically, is reduced by overpressure. However, bubbles can be used to image and to monitor the treated area. Last, some results of cavitation detection in vivo during lithotripsy and of the application of HIFU in vivo are reported."

Californium-252 is a man-made isotope that is produced in nuclear reactors. It has a relatively short half-life of 2.65 years. It emits alpha radiation, and is a strong emitter of neutrons.
Californium-252 has several medical and industrial applications, including its use in cancer therapy. It is also used to detect explosive devices in airline luggage. The alpha radiation emitted by californium-252 can be harmful to the human body if inhaled or ingested in large enough amounts, raising the risk of cancer.

Has Humanity simply been doped with thin film coctail of nano PiezoCrystals : charge , flouride/barium : detection, and selenium on undoped semi-insulating (USI) gallium arsenide : charge stability and transport as means of energy generation?

now this looks like assymetry or typical dual use in commercial linguistics....

and another bit on space based ion acoustic plasma beam, couopled w/GPS as possiable bio interferrence vector ... . .. .

This phenomenon of cell membrane distortion is divided
into three mechanisms [4].
The first one is the acoustic streaming that can be described by the radi-
ation force or deformation of the tissue molecules (cell membrane) due
to the compression phase of an ultrasound wave. The second mecha-
nism is bubble formation, which is affected by the radiation force in the
tissue fluids. The bubbles expand and contract under the effect of the
radiation force (compression and rarefaction), adding further stress to
the cell boundaries. Bubble expansion and contraction without growing
to a critical size is referred to as stable cavitation. The last mechanism is
microstreaming, which is a microscopic fluid movement, described by
the phenomenon of cavitation.
The cavitation effect depends on the pulsed ultrasound properties such
as low-intensity, high frequency, which limit the bubble growth. The
lifespan of the cavities is short and is only determined by the frequency
of the ultrasound wave. Cavitation decreases in reverse proportion to
frequency increase. As a result, it requires more power to occur as fre-
quency increases [3].
Our approach for stroke disruption is mainly based on acoustic cavita-
tion [4], the phenomenon of nucleation, growth and collapse of
vibrating microscopic bubbles when ultrasound waves pass through a
liquid. A mechanical shock due to the oscillation of the microbubbles
and their rapid collapse due to pressure effects may be felt up to a few
radial distances from the collapsed cavitation [4].
In the immediate vicinity of the collapsing bubble, an intense shear
stress may occur, especially in solids, which can change the erythro-
cyte membrane, break fibrin bonds, affect platelets and finally lead to
stroke disruption [3]. This phenomenon is more effective when a gas
bubble is close to a solid boundary (coagulated blood or other obsta-
cle). An acoustic micro-current is generated meadows of the bubbles
causing a great collapse, which can dissolve the clots.
4.0 Heat propagation
A thermal effect is also generated during the propagation of ultra-
sounds in the arteries. For solving the governing heat partial differential
equation (PDE) the Laplace transform and the Fourier method were
used. According to our numerical results shown in Figure 5, the temper-
ature rise rate in blood and clot are: (dT/dt)blood=0.00095 °C/s and
(dT/dt)clot=0.00015 °C/s.
the study was the study of the applicability of a new ultrasound therapeutic approach based on the modeling of an artery as a dielectric cylindrical waveguide, like the optical fiber. An acoustic wave propagates through this biological fibre, attains the obstacle and disrupts it by means of cavitation.
A growing number of laboratory and theoretical studies on bioacoustics
suggest that the ultrasound application time depending on the fre-
quency, the intensity and the rate of temperature rise must be respected.
As the ultrasound frequency increases, more energy is lost and more
power is required to produce cavitation. As a consequent, the heat depo-
sition per unit volume increases causing therefore an overheating during
a shorter time. All these parameters must be adjusted to avoid cell damage.
