Why do you ask this John?

I was asking because it's often pescribed for DOP - and since many people here say that their doctors tend to diagnose them as DOP, then I though that they might have been pescribed it at some point. I was wondering if it had any effect at all?

I ran across a document the other day about the treatment of DOP with pimozide. Several patients actually. Don't get me wrong here, I would never consider taking this nor would I suggest anyone else take it. All it does is mask the symptoms and possiby just paralize the organism (and/or our bodies natural responce) in question. Back to the document. He indicated his success with pimozide but one of his closing statements was; "Although, when treatment is stopped symptoms return." What does that tell you?

This is the last post /snippet from that article- i swear!

Trust: Issues to consider
• Distinguish between trust in the information
source, and trust in the information itself.
• Certain information sources expected to
communicate about food issues - if they don’t
consumers will be suspicious.
• Consider trust in an information source, and how
popular it is - people may frequently use low
trusted information sources.

The watchdog-Project sunshine. Sorry, I posted that rply of mine before i knew you had earlier replied. Did you see the h.link I posted on Photons?

If so, what do you think?

This is another one for you John, I don't think I posted it the other day...?

It's the Sunshine Project, not Project Sunshine, two different things.
http://www.sunshine-project.org/

I'm not sure if you know this, but Photons are just light waves/particles. The link just shows how photoelectric cells work (like on a solar power calculator). They show photons as wiggly green lines, because they are trying to indicate the wave-particle duality of light, a bit of a head-hurty topic, but really nothing to do with disease (unless you want to get into quantum mumbo-jumbo).

Re the link on GM horizontal gene transfer - I'd agree that not all the risks are known, but since the amount of genetic diversity in natural organisms is far greather than the tiny amount of GM organisms, then it seems much more likely that people will be harmed by some unknown natural organism than a genetically created one.

Horizontal gene transfer can happen without things being GM - so it's quite possible for a new organism to arise naturally in this way. The talk of it being more likely with GM is pure speculation at this point. I think a link to your symptoms is a bit tenuous - you are much more likely to have somethng natural.

I will gladly submit to a polygraph test any day- You name it!!!

What the Hell is wrong with us? It is not DOP and I'm not worried about people saying that, b/c to me , it only shows their STUPIDITY!

Immigraton problems.

Postby RANDY » Sun Apr 16, 2006 8:50 pm

Has anyone here ever put together that Florida, Texas and California have the most Morgellons cases and that pesticides used to kill pot and opium and coke crops are used in areas South of the USA and this mutated bug that kills these crops could have been carried across the boarder by those that cross the boarder and end up in Florida and Texas and California and that the condition because it is SO contagious has just spread from those areas across the USA and that travel and/or using the same pesticide in places like afaganistan has allowed this to be throughout the world?

Has that crossed anyones mind? This is a pesticide which mutates in humans and is contagious.

So what companies have been making the pesticides that the USA is using to kill crops in drug producing companies? Let us talk to those companies first.

Also: Has anyone gotten anyone of any type of scientific background to look at the TAM video? I have and they do not think it is real at all. Sorry.. that is the truth I am being told. Does anyone want to tell me of one person that thinks it is real that I can talk to personally and have them talk to one of my guys? If so..tell me. If I do not get an answer..I will know the anwer in NO.

I hate to run in circles searching facts that keep going in circles. We have been going in these same circles mentioned here for over 5 years now.

I read Scientific American and that is all the reading I need to do.

The simple, easy answer is usually the right one.

Anyone?

Your fibers glow? Just with UV light, or all the time?

I'm not saying I doubt your symptoms, I'm just cautioning about leaping to conclusions. I mean, you want to be correct in your diagnosis. You also want to avoid wasting time with highly marginal theories if there are more plausible theories out there.

Lynne, don't make yourself ill. There is no need for it to cost you a while in bed. Just take it steady - it can wait.

John, Yes, the fibers are something on the fibers glow.....

For Instance, If I pull something off of me> a lesion and look at it under the scope, well 50% of the time, something glows!!!!

Sometimes they have fibers in it/ sometimes not.

I agree, if there is a more plausible explanation, I should look at it first,
but hell, I can't find any?

Randy, Hell Yes we have thought of that!!! We have even thought

of the wind currents bringing the spores here, as well as the ocean.

Think about it......Cali, Texas and Florida are ALL ON THE OCEAN!!!

I would like to know an answer to the contagious issue. I know that the received knowledge is that the onset followed a bite and I have heard from more than 1 person that they can live in a family unit and they are the only one that is infected.

However, I cannot remember any particular "bite" as I would remember, say a midge bite. I am generally allergic to insect bites. But I have got it. Does that make me a danger to my friends, either visiting or me visiting?

Re: tamtam's video. Dr. Wymore from MRF had a look at it and returned some constructive criticism. His report can be found on the MRF web page under "Updates".

1. Besides you and your child, are any other family members affected with the morgellons and if so are they also pos for lymes?

2. Do you actualy have the fibers, fiber balls?
If so colors & have you measured them?
If so> size

3. Septra & cipra, you had indicated it had some results?
What are your current thoughts on that?

4. Been tested for HLA-DRA genetic marker?

5. Any luck with the ciprofloxacin and mannose/galactose?

All for now. I am on page 10 and continuing....
