I have a request. If we are to ask people to read really long articles that we have found could we summerize what we think is important in tose articles and then only give that page.

The DNA damage checkpoint pathways sense and respond to DNA damage in order to ensure genomic stability. The ATR kinase is a central regulator of one such pathway and phosphorylates a number of proteins that have roles in cell cycle progression and DNA repair. Using the Xenopus egg extract system, we have investigated regulation of the RHR (Rad1/Hus1/Rad9) complex. We show here that phosphorylation of Rad1 and Hus1 occurs in an ATR- and TopBP1-dependent manner on T5 of Rad1 and S219 and T223 of Hus1. Mutation of these sites has no effect on the phosphorylation of Chk1 by ATR. Interestingly, phosphorylation of Rad1 is independent of Claspin and the Rad9 carboxy-terminus, both of which are required for Chk1 phosphorylation. These data suggest that an active ATR signaling complex exists in the absence of the carboxy-terminus of Rad9, and that this carboxy-terminal domain may be a specific requirement for Chk1 phosphorylation and not necessary for all ATR-mediated signaling events. Thus, Rad1 phosphorylation provides an alternate and early readout for the study of ATR activation.

Hello,

I had (fingers crossed) whatever this "fiber" disease is. I did the following things to mostly get rid of the worst aspects:

- Washed everything I own in cold and then hot water and used 20 Mule Borax (Get it from Gristedes or Amazon)
- Used Lice shampoo (after using I saw the black little clumps on the bathtub floor)
- Used Dial soap (I used Dial Gold) and with a scrubber pretty much scraped my body from head (including scalp\hair\face) to my toes.
- Ordered the following from musclesurf.com (partially based on the post about treatments at http://cassia.org/treatments.htm#summarized) and am taking daily:
- Natrol Pycnogenol, 50mg, 60 capsules
- Nature's Way Aloe Vera Gel & Juice (about half a cup mixed with apple or orange juice
- Nature's Science B-Complex
- Nature's Science Vitamin C
- Country Life MSM (I take two daily and without it start feeling itchy)
- One-A-Day Maximum (usually take every other day)

In addition I was taking a Benadryl 25mg every day but now take 2 to help fall asleep. I also use a lice comb on my hair every morning.

I also still feel something on my scalp,especially at night, and have found the black and white clumps falling from or in my hair so I tie my hair, before sleeping, securely using at least two large strips of clothes so that none of my hair is visible or touching me.

I still sometimes see little red bumps on my skin but they don't itch as much. Also my skin is still super sensitive (it always was sensitive but now its super sensitive) and things have not completly returned to normalcy. Sometimes my joints in my finger still ache.

I'm getting the safe solutions enzyme cleaner and hope that helps. I tried the Demodex cream but they ended up hurting my face and didn't work for me.

Some things I noticed in people who post about having this: anemia or other genetic\blood weakness.

I'm still being told by doctors and family that I was\am hallucinating and the black specks\orange weird things\white specks are nothing. I am thankful for finding posts from people about this topic otherwise I would have thought the black specks were nothing. I avoid black especially black cotton clothes. I am seeing another doctor soon possibly will ask for antibiotics.

I'm still interested in knowing what it is and how to get rid of it completly. I emailed the CDC but got a stupid response from them about scabies, bed bugs or lice (hell I would take lice over this anytime).

Anyway good luck everyone, I pray no one else gets this disease\allergy\infection\whatever evil it is.

Hi All,

I have an annoying scalp irritation that sounds similar.
Without the fibers, though. Little crawling things on my
face especially at night when sleeping. Crawling in nostrils,
in the corners of my eyes, and ears sometimes, and I can
feel crawling on my scalp also.

I wouldn't describe it as under my skin, but they do either
burrow or at least they leave itchy spots on my scalp that
crust over and I can peal.

It started when I moved into an apartment which has a lot
of little insects. Some spiders, some fast running centipedes,
and a whole lot of fast running "potatoe bugs". I should say
by "potatoe bugs" I mean the ones that can roll up into a ball
shape, but these are very fast runners and never seem to roll
up as a defensive reaction, as the ones I used to see as a child.

Also, I am from Ontario Canada to give you an idea of where
I am located, in case you can relate to the insects or problem.

I'm not sure if these "potatoe bugs" may have something to do
with this irritation, but I state it in case others can find a pattern.

(Edit: I just found the true name of these bugs, they known as
sow bugs or pill bugs ... isopods or arthropods I dunno.)

That's all I can think of for the moment.

now you are beginning to understand. Horowitz is a very intelligent man

I understand its tough but randy you must be patient and know that there are many reasons why things are done the way they are. I have very little doubt that this is not tamtams "first barbeque or first time around the block" if you will. this is like a chess game we are involved in, with the goal of informing the public. until the uninfected public begins to question this, NOTHING WILL BE DONE about it. Now how do you inform the public? Mass media of course, but how do you gain their interest and curiousity. These are the things you need to consider when making demands of someone that is helping with this, regardless of whether you like their methods or not.

I am sure tamtam would agree that I expressed myself very much like yourself to him in the beginning, but I am begining to see the results of his methods and they are working, but they take time.

besides with everyone I know, myself included, a demanding person almost always goes to the end of line or becomes last on the list of priorities.. remember he is doing his best to help not only the infected but also those still uninfected.

As far as you demanding proof of what he says, watch the video again man, the lesions on the hand opening the vid, and the white bundle of fibers, these alone along with the quality of the images show without doubt, he is studying the exact same thing we are looking for answer to.
