If we are to work together, then why can't you tell us where you got that e-mail from. Anyone we know?
this is what I mean. We have to do what you want, but, you will not share where you get your information from.
Works both ways, Randy.
Do you have a degree? Just wondering.
Many of us have degrees, but, due to the polarization in govt and most businesses, one cannot get a job on their merits.
Independent thinkers do not need to go there anyway.
Did you see the 3 hour special on Kurzweil on c-span? It was amazing. What a mind. some good sites you posted. I think if you heard or can see the interview with him, it will explain a lot of things.
Now, I know how Stevie Wonder reads.
I can't get your site you listed there. Will keep trying.
Love ya, you are on my mind a lot and do so hope you are getting better.
Please don't use the salt on your leg though. I just wanted to post for others who have a few lesions here and there, and can tolerate the dead sea salt, not regular salt.
Keep posting and let us know how you are. Ignore those who have all kinds of connections, of which we are not familiar with, and who want to run the show here. this is public, here and our dear friend Canalon has been so kind to let us post freely. Thank you Canalon. We appreciate your kindness and strictness, at times, we sure need that once in a while.
I heard a comedian yesterday who had muscular dystrophy, and he does this......."he says YES to things that are problems, and makes them work in his favor." He was excellent.
so many new ideas are out there, people, and we have it all at our fingertips.
We learn sometimes as we go. This is a discussion thread, not an intimidation thread, or bashing thread.
When the paradigm of medicine itself needs to changed, some, just do not get it. Some work on the paradigm, educating the public as to what is out there, some do the communication. What we have, we all have, and it is in different forms at different stages.
Take care all
Love ya all,
I cannot get full article, but, here is abstract.

Howdy stranger! Remarkable indeed!!! My computer crashed twice when I clicked on the link. I cannot load past page one.
Hope you are well.

“William T. Harvey, M.D., a former United States Air Force physician and research scientist who came out of retirement to research Morgellons and served on the foundation's medical advisory board, succeeds Holman as board chairman.”
No wonder this organization creeps me out!
Why do you think Dr. Harvey couldn’t have a few of his old friends at the military base run a few tests on the fibers? Old people move slow but damn.
Why does the name John Kern come to mind?

I didn't realize the primate research center was at Emory in Atlanta, Ga, right down the street, isn't it from CDC ?
I didn't know that Chagas Disease was associated with Simiun monkey virus either.
That year 1956. Well now. About the time that live virus was used on unsuspecting 5 year olds and their moms.
See, I thought we could get close by way of the animals.
This is one sick game, isn't it?
Who is delusional now?
Something about the back of the neck, and the backbone, and the muscles, and the carrier status and the George Allen reference to the Macaca. Well now.
So, you all thought you found a way. Well, we did not do the initial crime.
Hang on to that crown, UK.
Oh, and.. not for those hat know it all... . ..
DNA is the informational basis from which living cells derive instructions for synthesizing proteins. Many of the resulting proteins are enzymes that catalyze biochemical reactions from which the cell derives energy or generates other molecules essential to its health and safety. The process normally occurs when the sequence of nucleotides in DNA is transcribed into a complementary, single strand of nucleotides known as messenger RNA, or mRNA. The mRNA provides the instructions by which other components in the cell synthesize proteins. Because not all genes are transcribed (or expressed) but all genes that are transcribed do so through mRNA, the presence of mRNA is an indicator that a gene from the cell’s DNA has been expressed. The DNA from which the mRNA is obtained is sometimes interspersed with oligonucleotide spacers that do not appear in the final mRNA. Because mRNA is used for the cell’s molecular machinery to generate the protein, the sequence of DNA (or gene) that corresponds to a protein can be obtained by reverse transcription of the mRNA. The DNA is generated from the mRNA using a test tube (in vitro) procedure in which enzymes and several reagents are added to a purified form of the mRNA, which is then used to form the oligonucleotide sequence, or DNA, from which the mRNA was originally generated. The opposite of transcription, this process is referred to as reverse transcription. The DNA obtained in this manner, called complementary DNA, or cDNA, provides a nucleotide that can be further amplified and used to carry out an analytical procedure to obtain the sequence of the cDNA.

Self-assembling peptide based hydrogels having a unique
nano- and microscopic morphology are being studied for
potential use as tissue engineering scaffolds. Low molecular
weight (~20 kg/mol), amphiphilic, diblock polypeptides of
hydrophilic, polyelectrolyte cationic lysine (K) or anionic
glutamic acid (E) and hydrophobic leucine (L) or valine (V)
form hydrogels in aqueous solution at neutral pH and at very
low volume fraction of polymer (vol. fraction polypeptide less
than 0.5 wtbeen characterized using laser confocal
microscopy (LCM), ultra-small angle neutron scattering
(SANS), and cryogenic transmission electron microscopy
(cryoTEM) imaging. Studies of the self-assembly process with
and without significant ionic solution strength (i.e. in the
presence of salt and cell growth medium) will be discussed.
Interactions of the hydrogels with bacterial and mammalian
cells reveal that these materials are non-cytotoxic and
biocompatible. Hence, the chemistry of the assembled diblock
polypeptides allows for cellular proliferation whereas the
same chemistry in the homopolymeric form is cytotoxic.
Proper molecular design for optimal cell viability and gel
integrity in the presence of high ionic strength aqueous
solution will be discussed.
Mechanic properties of freely suspended quasi
two-dimesional model actin cortex on microfabricated
three-dimensional pillar substrates
Conical micropillars with diameters of 1µm and more and
variable interpillar distances were microfabricated on silicon
or polymer substrates by photolithography and anisotropic
reactive ion etching. By in vitro polymerisation of actin
oligomers, grafted onto the surface of the pillar substrates,
actin filaments were selectively bound to the top of the pillars.
The addition of the actin crosslinking protein filamin led to the
formation of a square mesh network of actin bundles and the
confinement of the entire network to the plane of the pillar
tops. This strategy allowed us to measure elastic properties of
freely suspended actin filaments, bundles and network
structures under controlled boundary conditions by means of
flicker spectroscopy and magnetic bead micromanipulation.
This quasi two-dimensional actin network also served as
model substrate to study the transport behavior of the
processive molecular motor myosin V, mimicking the
transport at the interface between the actin cortex and the
Topographically Tuning Polymer Adhesion
Nature often uses geometry on micro and nano length scales to systematically tailor performance in multivariable environments. A great example, which has received much attention recently, is the foot of a gecko. The gecko's foot is covered with hundreds of thousands of "hair"-like protrusions which dictate a gecko's precise control of adhesion through van der Waals forces.(1) In our research, we fabricate controlled structures ranging from the nano to micro length scales on elastomeric surfaces. Our initial results are based on the topography of spherical caps and high-aspect ratio posts that decorate the surface of polydimethylsiloxane layers. Based on initial calculations, we demonstrate how the aspect ratio and inter-feature spacing greatly affects the near-surface compliance, thus impacting the processes of interface formation. The density and shape of the features are also shown to enhance the prevention of interfacial failure. These results are relevant for the refinement of the soft lithography processing technique, the development of smart adhesives, and the fabrication of bonding sites for biological implants.
Generation and characterization of three-dimensional nanoparticle assemblies on molecular weight gradients of surface-anchored macromolecules
We describe preparation of three-dimensional (3-D) nanoparticle assemblies on substrate-anchored macromolecules having a gradient in chain length (i.e. molecular weight, MW). Such a gradient is created by first attaching a silane-based polymerization initiator homogeneously to a silica substrate and then exposing various parts of the substrate to the polymerization reaction mixture for varying amounts of time. Immersion of a model polyacrylamide MW gradient prepared by aqueous atom transfer radical polymerization in a colloidal gold solution results in the formation of 3-D number density gradient of gold nanoparticles. Characterization of this 3-D gradient by atomic force microscopy, spectroscopic ellipsometry and ultraviolet visible light spectrocopy show that number density of attached particles increases as MW of anchored polymer chains increases along the gradient. Further analysis by x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) indicate that for a given polymer brush gradient, larger particles (\sim15nm diameter) tend to reside near the free end of chains (near air interface) whereas smaller particles (\sim3.5nm diameter) are distributed more homogeneously.

My husband has had Morgellons for the past 3 year, he has been diagnosed as delusional. He has been given scripts for anti-biotics as well as parasite meds. Nothing seems to work. In August I started showing signs of the disease. Very itchy, little black spots coming out of the skin as well as lint like fiber, threads and what looked like pieces of wood fiber. When I realized what was happening I first went to the health food store and started a parasite cleanse. I found that vitamin E oil releived the itching somewhat. I then started to take mega doses of every vitamin I could find. I then read an article that stated that this disease was living off the electrical charge in the body. I then obtained a copper band and wore it as a braclett. I also drink 2 glasses of water each day ( morning and evening) with a half teaspoon of baking soda mixed in. These things seem to help me. I'm not sure that there is any medical significance to what I'm doing but because of what my husband has gone though I know there is no use going to a doctor. What ever ease I can obtain it will be of my own doing.
The following post is on behalf of Marlene Greger:
Dear Morgellon Sufferers,
I have had Morgellons for over 25 years. I have been having remarkable success with NutraSilver. You must take it internally and NOT put it on topically to get results.
I started out with 20 drops in distilled water 3 times a day. I had much purging, even out of my eyes!! The next 3 weeks I increased the drops to 30 drops three times a day. Now in my fourth week I am seeing the purging slowing down and the lesions healing. The small white blobs under my skin around my mouth are going away and the lesions in my nose are gone.
I use an Acarid Removing Cream Cleanser from the Jamu Shop on my skin and I do not wash it off. This cleanser turns the purging parasites into white mush that can be easily extracted. The cleanser can be used around the eyes and inside the nose as well. It take 2 weeks to get it.
To boost my immune system, stop joint pain, fight insomia, and to regain hair loss due to Morgellons, I have had great success with far-infrared. I go to the Migun company by my house and use their far-infrared massage beds. Try it it works!!
Aloe vera lotion that I buy at Walgreens ( their brand) works well also to turn the purging parasites ( due to the NutraSilver) into mush.
Hope this helps,
- disarm you with a smile
