The Fiber DiseaseModerator: BioTeam Excellent Skytroll,
If you do the overview that is absolutely fine by me. You are right, it does take a lot of reading to get a fair over view. I have only been aware of this thing for 2 weeks or so and I dropped biology 30 years ago. Consistency is important as well as it would be counterproductive to confuse people. Lynne is going to help as well. Skytroll, so are you actually going to write a piece for the overview section? We need to decide how many pages the ebooklet is going to be. I was thinking of a .pdf file. That way it can be printed out as well. But also because that is my epublishing limit. I don't know whether it would be better to include video clips? Helen ps, I am just trying to get some work finished for tomorrow and hopefully post some useful links tomorrow. I think that I have moved on since the set of sites that I printed out when I orignally found out what was going on for Ed.
Helen,
Wonderful. We need someone who knows Desktop publishing and can get this out there. Uk guy, can we use your pictures? Yes, I plan to do a piece, and will use info that we know for sure is or has been identified. if may vary a bit, but will have same general idea. So, April 16 a goal. Great. Skytroll
skytroll,
quickly checked in as I have almost finished what I am doing. I can produce documents in ms word with pictures and word wrap, (so that the words wrap around the picture and the white space gets covered). I can write to pdf. pdf is the format that uses adobe acrobat which most machines have on and can be downloaded for free if they don't. It's advertised as being fairly industry standard for sharing information. I think that my pdf writer will do links to webpages and things. however, if there is someone out there who is skilled at DTP and wants to make a difference then please do. Lynne, what is micro apts? If we aim for the 16th then its loads better than letting it drift about. Helen
nano viruses and bacteriaI just noticed an article at CNN posted today, thought
it might be related, take a look: http://edition.cnn.com/2006/TECH/04/07/ ... index.html Regards, Skipbait
Wow..talk about BLINK and you'll miss it...
Lots of good things happening here ..... OK a quick update from me...but hopefully a positive one! I think this a great idea and thanks to Helen, Skytroll and the gang for their foresight here. It's a structured PR campaign! Now my time is limited at present I'm afraid...some of you know why...the others can learn if you want to PM me BUT...I will help in any way I can. My thoughts for additions to the list...sorry I'm rushing here so please forgive any rambling that ensues.... 1. I think one aspect that needs to be included is partly related to the DOP diagnosis (more of that later) and that is when discussing this disease with doctors and mentioning the INTERNET: eyes roll, people sigh and you get the impression they're just about tolerating your words but you can see they're thinking of what they're going to say next and not listening to what you're actually telling them. We KNOW the internet can be DANGEROUS place, full of urban myths and other falsehoods peddled by anonymous people. THIS is very different. We didn't get these symptoms after viewing posts in a messageboard...at least the vast majority of us didn't. Furthermore, the vast majority of didn't convince ourselves that we have additional symptoms after reading posts on a messageboard. I don't want to offend anyone by my use of 'vast majority' here, I'm sure you understand. It was simply because we HAVE these symptoms that we were able to find these sites in the first place. How many times have we read a first post by someone that goes something like: 'I can't believe I've been searching for years after trying every treatment imaginable ony to find people, lots of people, experiencing the exact same things as me...' 2. The DOP (Delusions of Parasitosis) I can believe this is a valid diagnosis in some situations, however, given that this a very complex condition, and not at all a commonplace one, then this diagnosis should srely only be handed out after extensive tests have been performed. The fact that someone goes into their doctor's surgery with a matchbox containing a sample should not warrant a DOP diagnosis. We've been asked to bring samples in and then upon showing the sample we're (it seems) just helping bring about a DOP diagnosis. That's not right. 3. Lyme's disease should have a place in this body of work. 4. Worms / Flukes / 5. Collembola / Yeast / fungus connection? 6. I think an E-book is a great idea but I'd be very careful of the format you choose. Alot of E-book's end up getting compiled in an executable format (.EXE). Trying to email an executable file and getting it past firewalls is one thing but even if they can receive it, people will be very reluctant to open it for fear of unleashing a virus on their PC/Network. PDF format is better for this. Here's a link to an Open Source PDF creator which lets you create a PDF file from Windows programs (i.e.from MS Word). http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/ I'll take a look at this this evening. 7. The E-book should be relatively short to make the best impact, with the main body of information on the WEB? By this I mean a standalone website where you can place treatment protocols, exeriences etc and links to bodies of work elsewhere on the web. Helen / Skytroll please PM me about this. 8. I'd place emphasis on the facts as much as possible and leave the more esoteric stuff in the theories part of the website. i.e. Chemtrails. 9. I'll re-edit my videos and static images for inclusion if that will help. 10. Hmmmm lots more but I'm late Like I say, I'll do whatever I can but I'm really busy over the next couple of months and I dont want to put myself forward and then let people down. Just being honest there. Oh...forgot to mention http://www.dpref.com. That's an excellent site! Take care all... Ukguy

I am willing to have people e-mail there symptoms and treatment program that has worked to ease or stop symptoms and try to put together a good percentile survey on it. I will probably need to come up with a questionaire that people can fill out, So that will be my first tsk. I would like to include every one in this survey, even the un-positive people, people who do not make videos and doctors reports. positive and un-positive doctors observations, however they need to have really examined the patient with magnification and with witnesses. I will try and find patterns and common factors if I may, and study this scientificaly. I do have some (physicist and engineer friends that may help decipher some of the info. and some who have studies biology more than I and psychology. My kind of thinking logic is deductional. we may come up with more than one syndrome with this. So I am sure this will be tedius, but I probably have more time on my hands than most of you have. And I will not be going back to school until Sept maybe, I am not sure I may just study on my own and challenge exams, which will give me more flexability. This research is going to take a long time and I want to be meticulous. Please let me know. This will be a good "by the people" research program. I will also go back and review everyones comments on this thread. You do realizre this will take long time? PS: London, you are the only one who also mentioned B1 I had mentioned about brewers yeast (an excellent source) some fear that brewers yeast is involved in yeast propagation but it doesn't Anyways.. my thought is because part of my intestine are removed and i have an on-going problem, I need to take supplemental B vit, and sometimes I am not dilligent enough in doing so. So This could be an other piece of my puzzle. Last edited by Linn on Mon Apr 10, 2006 12:32 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: nano viruses and bacteria
yes isn't that facinating!! What can be done today. "How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these".

Thanks Lynne,
Hi everyone, Lynne is going to produce some statistics for the ebooklet regarding: - symptoms, - treatment program - what has worked, what has not, Of course this requires data and so, please help us by shareing your experiences with us. One of the useful things that my come out is any trend(s). You can contact either Lynne or me by pm and we can give you a contact email address. Also, Lynne can not access lymebusters so if you see anythin relevant on those message boards then send it in. Please say where you got it from. Helen
Hi Linn Please elaborate ^^^ Did I miss something? Sorry for talking in vague terms here but I think the main theory (with respect to my mentioning Collembola and Yeast is: Many people report significant gains when using the Anti-Candida diet. Candida is a yeast infection. Many people (me included) also report having bugs crawling on them (especially at night). The theory goes that since Collembola will feed on yeast, there may be some component to this disease that attracts Collembola and / or other bugs. Just a theory of course and not one for the main thrust of the E-book but something I thought was worth mentioning. See ya Ukguy
ukguy,
Thanks, I knew that you would come up with some good stuff. Best of luck with whatever you are doing. - DOP issues must definately be addressed - re-empowerment issues - that if we read something on the interent we are capable of making a critical judgement about its validity - the actual physical reality of the symptoms can'tbe ignored "It was simply because we HAVE these symptoms that we were able to find these sites in the first place." How would I know what was happening in California and hence to me if it wasn't for these sites? - Points 3, 4 & 5 will hopefully be addressed by skytroll in her overview - it is going to be pdf - I am wondering whether 2 sides of A4, that's 4 sides of A5 will be a good size - that sort of makes it a eleaflet really but it does mean that it can be easily printed off and left lying around. No need for any stapling, and won't over face anyone whos is very busy. As both skytroll and Lynne have already pointed out, that kind of increases the amount of research that needs to be done in order to make each word have a value of 5. - absolutley brilliant idea to have a stand alone website. I was actually going to ask if we could post the finished product on the page that you have your videos. - proven facts is a good idea - you can't argue with black and white. Like you suggest links to articles, etc. on the website from the eleaflet and from it to more detailed websites. - I think that skytroll was asking for some of your pictures. Thanks very much. I think that between us we should be able to produce a fairly professional looking eleaflet that can't be ignored. It is like a mighty river every bit of errosion takes time but in the long run, the amount of errosion change a landscape. Better do my own stuff now. Helen
