microscopeHello,
I am a university biology student and I am looking into buying a microscope to have at home; mainly because I think it's interesting but also to practice before laboratory practicals. My question is: What should I look for? Also, I was planning on spending perhaps $500-600, would that give me a decent microscope? or will it be a waste of money because it will only get me a toy? Thanks in advance MK Last edited by mollyk on Sat Sep 18, 2010 12:13 pm, edited 1 time in total.
$500-600 can only buy a toy. One normal objective lens may cost at least several hundred dollars. I think there will be good microscope in your laboratory, no need to buy.
