Sexual difference of lithodid crabsHi all!
I've a question about sexual difference of lithodid crabs, especially about Paralithodes camchaticus. Some time ago we have found that males and females differ in presence of setae on coxal segments of their legs. We have perform a study, showing this difference, we have found that there's a relation between the setae density and the carapace width, but we can't find any references in scientific literature to this matter!... Could anyone point me if there are some studies about this? Thanks in advance! PS: Here are the pictures of male and female legs with these setae there are male legs there are female legs with setae
