i am doin an project related to bioplastic production in plants. i have an source gene from an microbe. in order to avoid the codon optimiztion procedure i am tinkin to go for plastid transformation. will this method will be useful for me/? for this method whether i should go for agrobacterium mediated or biolistic method? pls help me out.

To my knowledge, Agrobacterium infectes gDNA and biolistic method has largely decreased proficiency for plastids, but I'm sure there are some methods, just look into some papers
