Rubisco, Oxygen, and RuBP

What happens when rubisco fixes oxygen to RuBP?

Choose one answer:
a. The product is a six-carbon molecule.
b. The product is a four-carbon molecule.
c. The products are a two-carbon molecule and a three-carbon molecule.
d. The products are two three-carbon molecule.

i think it's either a or d, because when rubisco combines CO2 and RuBP it results in an unstable six carbon compund that immediately breaks down into two PGAs, which are three carbons.

plasmo: but the question is about oxygen, not CO2, so the answer is indeed c ;)
