I am a newbie to Bio and have to give a power point presentation on an interesting aspect of the smooth endoplasmic reticulum.
Does anybody have any ideas on any special properties or characteristics or disorders I could explore

Do you have Campbell and Reece? It would be a good idea to check out the section on organelles. It is pretty useful .
