C2C12 cells

Postby boiler4711 » Mon May 31, 2010 2:29 am

Hi,

I was just wondering that C2C12 myotubes start contracting when acetylcholine is released from the pre-synaptic neuron. So if I culture C2C12 cells in a media where I put acetylcholine molecules will the myotubes start contracting? If not, why ? I would really appreciate any response or if you have a theory behind it that would work as well.

Thanks in advance.

Hello boiler4711,

I would like to amplify C2C12 cells from a commercial ampule, but I have troubles with resuscitation.
Could you help me?
I posted a new topic explaining what I did.

Thank you for your help.
For your question, I can't answer since for now I don't manage to grow my cells!!!
