book recomendation

Postby JackBean » Wed May 26, 2010 9:21 pm

Hi everybody,

I know books about selfish gene or Gaia (well, I didn't read them), but these are evolutionary/ecological. Are there any similar books but regarding biochemistry, molecular and/or cell biology? Not something like Alberts' The Cell or Voet's Biochemistry, but something into science...

Cis or trans? That's what matters.

I think these are not, what I was asking for. As I said, I don't want any textbook

You would need to check them before judging by " I think "

These books are explaining science by the same way of the " Selfish Gene " and " Gaia ". Some of them are even published by the same publishers of " The Selfish Gene ".

You can consult Google books to test them or look for new books.

By the way, these now are considered as an ancient books, they contain good way in explaining science, but they do not contain updated information.
