Loading control for different human tissue samplesHello,
I have ordered an immunoblot (NC membrane) for western blotting, which contains different human tissues such as kidney, spleen, prostate, etc. in each lane. I want to see if equal amount of proteins have been loaded in each lane as promised by the company but my problem is that I can't use B-tubulin as the loading control since different tissue express different levels of this protein. I was wondering what would be the best way for this. Thank you in advance for your reply.
So wait someone else ran a gel and blotted it, and then just sent you the membrane? Jesus, what would they think of next?
Anyway, maybe PGK? Actin? "As a biologist, I firmly believe that when you're dead, you're dead. Except for what you live behind in history. That's the only afterlife" - J. Craig Venter
