Cetylpyridinium chloride solution storage

hi there!
In my experiments, i used Cetylpyridinium chloride to treat my cells, i bought it from sigma http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/catalog/Pro ... KEY&F=SPEC, and dissolved it in autoclaved DDW, but i am not sure about its storage conditions, now i stored solution at 4 degree, i am wondering how long can it keep stable at 4 degree?

yes, i filter it with 0.2um filter, and now it works. i want to know can i store this solution at 4 degree for a long time ( for example, several months ) without any change ( concentration, degradation ).

well pyridine is degraded by bacteria, that's why i said that you should keep it sterile. But i don't think it would chemically degrade in water (you have it in an aqueous solution right?). though myself i don't like to keep solutions for longer than a few months (that does happen, I sometimes keep growth media for more than a year, when I can see it turn yellow...)
