Mammal tooth - help to identify

Postby MDC » Sat Mar 20, 2010 8:33 pm

Hello

I found this tooth on a beach in Thailand, it was right on the sea shore. I had no luck in identifying

it with the locals. Its been a few years now and im still curious.

Does anybody know what animal it belonged to?

The exact location was on and island called Ko Chang on the west coast of Thailand near a city called

Ranong.

Here are a couple of photos. It is about 3cm wide.

Thank you

Melissa
