Salmon Farming

I was hoping to see if anyone has some good sites that present a balanced look at the environmental and ecological affects from open water salmon farming. There seems to be quite an opposition to the farms where I live (BC, Canada) but I have heard the science quoted by this opposition called into question. Now due to the for profit nature of the farms I can easily see an incentive to discredit any science that draws conclusions negative for the farming industry but this isn't necessarily the case; it could just be bad science. Does anyone know where one might be able to find good science for understanding the issue? Preferably from an unbiased third party
