Do the blood mix in the ventricles? I have heard that the columnae carnae help the separation to some extent is it true? O r there is any other mechanism for that?

Actually it does not mix as a whole, a mechanism arranges blood into abstract "layers" in ventricle... the upper side, which come first, has more oxygene rather that the down side then will be pumped through aorta to the body...
