Mutation rates?

how do i work out mutation rates from colony counts of control and bacteria exposed to mutagen agents?

Let's say, you get ~2 colonies per plate on control and ~100 colonies per plates on mutagen plates. So, the mutation rate has increased 50-times, didn't it?

Right, Bit im sure there must be some way to gather a unit (like 2 mutarions per every 10000 divisions or so) im just asking becouse its for coursework and on the course book there isnt any info on mutation rates.
