Confused By Question

Hi all sorry if this is posted in wrong section but the title of my assignment is physiology ^_^

I'll write the whole question out otherwise I don't think it'll make sense.

List the main functions of the digestive system with reference to the following stages :
Mechanical and chemical digestion, Absorption and Egestion, stating the organs responsible for each stage and how each contributes to the process.
(Refer to stomach, pancreas, Liver, Gall bladder, small and large intestines)

(That part I've done)

Next, for all the organs state the type of cells involved and their specific functions.
For each type of chemical digestion identified, show the process using simple chemical equations.

I don't get that part as I didn't think there was any chemical equations? I can't seem to find any anyway ^_^ Can anyone kind of explain that part to me?

basically think of the different enzymes used and e.g. pepsin, salivary amylase etc.

for example you can break down a disaccharide into two monosaccharides by adding water to hydrolyze a bond.

Search for function of each organ and how are these functions managed. E.g. intestines has other function (and thus other cells) than stomach or liver
