The Discovery Institute Is Just Plaid Wrong..

Postby jyaron » Mon Dec 28, 2009 7:58 am

They released a statement today that is just absurd regarding PBS airing too much evolution-related material..

Here's my analysis: http://thebioblog.com/2009/12/discovery ... darwinism/

Why are there not more education people out there stopping people like this?

There's a dilemma on whether to speak up and be apologists for science or whether we're stoking the flames by even answering their insanity

Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;

The Discovery Institute is geared on getting the message across that there is an "intelligent designer" of the universe, very subtly. I don't know if you heard about the dilemma in Kansas a few years back, where they wanted to change the definition of 'science', and totally cut out teaching of evolution and only teach intelligent-design, it's disgusting that something that has no scientific evidence is being taught in science class. It makes you think what our future politicians will decide, if there will be funding for science or religious organizations (depending on what is taught in the classroom) I am all for stopping this outrage, I have sent many emails to discovery institute especially for airing garbage that cannot be called science.
