Race and sound of voice.

Do the different races have different sounding voices? I'd say that white people typically have high voices, whereas black people have deeper voices, though there are exceptions.

Race is not a biological concept, more of a social one. There are hardly any "pure-race" people in the civilized world, and a US Census bureau survey showed that something like 30% of people changed their race over 3 years, which is really funny.

MrMistery's right about that, but the fact that blacks and whites aren't different "races" per se doesn't mean that there aren't any differences between them besides skin color and facial features. The voice is an example (black people whose ancestors were mostly or completely black are likely to have deeper voice), and body built is another (it has been proven that white people have more fat than muscle, and since fat is lighter than muscle, it explains why white people are better swimmers, and black people have more muscle, which explains why they're better at, say...boxing).

actually, historically boxers come from the poor immigrant class which kinda explains why a lot of the puglists today are latinos(at least in the us), previously they were black and before that they were irish or italians.

what i think is that the creation of different races was a result of where the people resided and which one was selected by the natural selection. lets take the blacks to have originated from the equator and the whites from may be higher latitudes.
now we need someone highly inclined to physics to tell us if the pitches change with changing latitude (weather, temperature)
at lower temperatures if a high pitch is louder or heard properly then you get your answer

nobody can deny that there genetic differences between the so-called "races" owing to their different genetic ancestries, but it is a fact that the largest percentage of genetic variation (over 70% if I remember correctly) is inside populations. Compared to that, differences between "races" are minor.

Maybe isn't important, how many differences there are (genetically), but where they are
(I mean, that in average population, the changes will be splitted all around the genome, probably (with some more and less mutated places, but never mind), whereas, when you take people of different races, you may find the differences concentrated on some spots)
