Interesting story about a web weaving spider that creates objects that look like it to act as decoys against predator (in the article wasps) attacks. I've read about plenty of methods of predator survival methods, but never constructing dummy sized objects for decoys... --- http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8023413.stm I knew bedbugs used a similar reproductive method; but, having just recently learned about the pedipalps, this makes sense...
