eosinophil chemotactic factor help

Hi everyone:
I'm doing a project for my cell class (sorry if this is in the wrong forum--I couldn't find a homework forum) about the eosinophil chemotactic factor. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for a few answers. My professor seemed to think everything could be found online and I don't doubt him, I'm just getting conflicting answers. Here's what I have so far:
1. Name of signal (I assume this is obvious: Eosinophil chemotactic peptide)
2. Type of signal (peptide?)
3. Mode of signal transport (At first I assumed endocrine, as a mast cell produces the signal and sends it to an area of inflammation, but then I found autocrine, so now I'm unsure.)
4. Name of receptor (enzyme?)
5. Cellular functions associated with signal (stimulates chemotaxis of eosinophils?)
6. Gene function it controls (responsible for accumulation of eosinophils at sites of inflammation?)

I also have to find the entire pathway. If someone could just give me a few ideas of where I'm wrong and right, I would be so grateful. Thanks.

i think your professor wants you to actually do some work on the molecular part - look up the signaling pathway inside the cell - GPCR receptor, PI3K, PTEN stuff like that.
