1) Does a shore-crab normally irrigate its branchial chamber by exhaling or inhaling at the front edge of the carapace ?

2)When the crab swallows water , does it pump air in the same direction or opposite direction?


3) Why does dissolveed oxygen appears to increase during the crab winker experiment?
