terminal ganglion parasympathetic

Postby sarah90222 » Fri Nov 20, 2009 10:34 pm

i know that the parasympathetic neurones: ones in teh occulomotor III, facial VII, glosopharyngeal XI synapse with ganglions known as terminal ganglions.

but with the vagus and the sacral neurones, the ganglions which teh preganglionic and postganglionic synapse are they also known as terminal ganglion?

what exactly is terminal ganglion?

thanks in advance
